The contractor packs up, the new kitchen or bathroom looks great, and then you notice the dust. It's on every surface, inside the cabinets, in the window tracks, and on top of door frames. Construction dust is finer than household dust, and a quick wipe usually just moves it around.
A post-construction clean works from the top down. Light fixtures, ceiling fans, vents, and the tops of cabinets and doors come first, so the dust that falls lands on surfaces that haven't been cleaned yet. Then come walls, trim, and baseboards, followed by counters, cabinets inside and out, and appliances.
It also means removing what the trades leave behind: stickers and protective film on new fixtures and appliances, paint specks on glass and hardware, adhesive and grout haze, and debris in window and door tracks. Floors are vacuumed and mopped last, edge to edge.
Book the clean once the work is fully finished, including touch-up paint. Cleaning before the last trade leaves usually means cleaning twice.
Whether you've just finished a remodel or you're a builder handing over keys, our post-construction cleaning gets the space move-in ready. Request a free estimate with the size of the space and the work that was done.
